Hochman Wins Some Off Ivey

Phil Ivey bet the three-way turn of {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and was called by Corey Hochman, Daniel Harmetz also check-called out of the blinds as well. The {q-Spades} on the river was checked to Hochman, who bet 2,000. Harmetz folded and Ivey called to get shown the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a straight by Hochman, which ended up as the winning hand.

Le checked on the flop of {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and called a bet of 1,500 from Ivey. Le again check-called on the {k-Clubs} turn when Ivey sized up to 5,000.

The river brought the {q-Spades} and Le led out for 6,500. Ivey eyed his opponent before eventually tossing his cards into the mucked.

With 3,600 in the middle to the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} turn, Richard Gryko bet 2,000 out of the small blind in the last hand before the break. James Cavanaugh raised to 9,000 on the button and Gryko called.

After the {5-Diamonds} river, Gryko check-raised from 25,000 to 50,000 and Cavanaugh called to get shown the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Canavaugh chopped with the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Gryko then added "I wasn't sure if they still have the rule with the penalty ...".

John Riordan limped and Ben Lamb made it 2,200 to go, which the small blind and Riordan called. On the {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, the action checked to Lamb and he bet 7,500. The small blind min-raised to force out Riordan and then called the all-in by Lamb for 21,400.

Soon after a new table opened to move Long, who was replaced by Fraser MacIntyre.
