Barrett Bests Kyte in "Fair Fight"

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Maury Barrett raised to 12,000 from under the gun. Action folded to Jon Kyte in the big blind who slammed in a tower of chips for a three-bet to 60,000.

"That's what I want to see," Kyte said as Barrett quickly called. Both players took one.

"Fair fight," Kyte continued as he slowed down and checked. Barrett also checked.

Kyte showed a pair, while Barrett had eight-seven. "That's what you call me with," Kyte asked following the hand as Barrett raked in the pot.

Ryan Depaulo's run in the tournament has come to an end.

He open jammed approximately 90,000 on the button and was called by chip leader Gabe Paul in the small blind. Paul patted, while Depaulo needed one card.

Paul showed {10-}{9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}, while Depaulo was live with {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}.

Unfortunately for Depaulo, he pulled another {6-}, and the 'Game Over' screen will be appearing over this hand on his vlog.

Raz Hanging Around

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Yanni Raz didn't even want to play this event and tried to withdraw early on Day 1, but the 2-7 rookie now finds himself in the money with an average stack.

In his last hand, Raz called 9,000 raise from Tomas Szwarcberg on the button and took two, while Szwarcberg drew one.

Szwarcberg continued for 17,000 and Raz quickly called with {10-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}. Szwarcberg mucked and Raz's improbable journey took another boost.
