Patel Can't Get Rid of Soulier

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Razz

Fabrice Soulier: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}/{x-}
Suketu Patel: {x-}{x-}/{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}/{x-}

Fabrice Soulier bet on fifth street and received a call from Suketu Patel. Soulier bet again on sixth, and Patel stuck around.

On seventh, Soulier slowed down and checked, allowing Patel to bet. Soulier quickly called.

"Do you have an eight," Soulier asked as Patel showed two eights in the hole, missing his low.

"I have a ten," the French poker legend continued, turning over {7-}{4-}{4-} for a 10-7-6-4-A to win the pot.

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Max Kruse raised from late position, Tom Walter three-bet from the button, and Kruse re-raised enough to put Walter all in.

Walter called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. "I need a four," Kruse said, turning over {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

He didn't get it as the board ran out {6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, giving Walter a double up at the expense of the soccer star.

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Omaha 8 or better

From the cutoff, Fabrice Soulier opened and Suketu Patel called from the small blind.
Then, on a {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop, Patel check-called 12,000 before both players checked the {j-Spades} turn.

The river {j-Diamonds} is bet by Patel to 24,000 and Fabrice called.

The Frenchman mucked when he saw {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for Patel.

Geoffrey Hum raised from late position and Georgios Sotiropoulos defended from the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Sotiropoulos checked over to Hum, who put out a bet. Sotiropoulos called, then check-called another bet on the {a-Clubs} turn.

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Limit Hold'em

Tom Schneider opened the pot with a raise and Allyn Shulman three-bet in middle position. From the button, Phil Ivey four-bet and both Schneider and Shulman called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and action checked to Ivey, who put out a bet. Both opponents called.

Ivey bet again on the {2-Clubs} turn and that was enough to get rid of Schneider. Shulman, though, pushed all in and Ivey snap-called.

Shulman showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} but was in big trouble against Ivey's {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a set of jacks. The river came the {6-Diamonds} and Ivey sent the bracelet winner to the rail while raking up more than 500,000 chips.
