Daly Takes Chip Lead by Busting Berg, Filippi

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Stud 8 or Better

Lawrence Berg: {x-}{x-}/{j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}/{x-}
Amnon Filippi: {x-}{x-}/{a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}/{x-}
Jason Daly: {x-}{x-}/{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}/{x-}
Murilo Figueredo: {x-}{x-}/{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs} - folded

Lawrence Berg, Amnon Filippi, and Jason Daly had chips in front of them on fifth street before Murilo Figueredo got out of the way.

On sixth street, Daly bet, Berg raised, Filippi called, Daly re-raised, Berg went all in for 132,000, Filippi also went all in, and Daly called to put both players at risk.

Daly turned over {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a straight and a low, while Berg and Filippi both flung their last cards into the muck and hit the rail.

With that massive pot, Daly has moved past 1,000,000 chips and has taken the tournament chip lead.

"He sat at the wrong table," Nathaniel Parenti joked afterward.

Gola Flops an Ace, Daly in the Wrong Seat

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Omaha 8 or Better

Amnon Filippi raised from the cutoff before Jason Gola three-bet on the button.

"Excellent raise," Filippi said as he called. The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Filippi check-called another bet.

Both players checked the {k-Diamonds} turn and {q-Spades} river. "Just an ace," Gola said, turning over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} that was good enough to win the pot.

Jason Daly has taken the seat to the left of Gola at table #638, but he wasn't supposed to be there. When his table broke, Daly drew table #640 and accidentally sat here instead. Michelle Roth noticed him sitting in her seat, but since he had already played a hand, the tournament floor allowed Daly to stay while Roth took his proper seat.

Five Tables Left

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

First to act, Fabrice Soulier opened and he was called by Michael Estes on his very next seat making it two players to the flop of {10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}.

Soulier bet and Estes called.

The turn came the {2-Spades} and Soulier check-called. The river was the {9-Spades}, Soulier checked, Estes bet, and Soulier took few seconds to consider it.

He finally folded and Estes took another pot.

Meanwhile, another table has been broken and Michelle Roth took a seat on the table with one of the biggest stack in the room.
