Ausmus Gets Away From Noori's Shove

Level 13

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 5,000 from the button and Michael Noori called from the big blind. Both players drew one.

Noori checked the first draw and Ausmus bet 8,000. Noori called and drew one on the second draw. Ausmus stood pat.

After the second draw, Noori checked again before Ausmus bet 19,000. Noori raised the pot, which accounted for his last 88,500. It was too much for Ausmus and he tossed his hand in the muck to give the pot to Noori.

Weinman Makes Flush to Take From Trivett

Level 13

No-Limit Five Card Draw High

Daniel Weinman raised to 6,000 from the button and Michael Trivett called from the big blind. Trivett drew two and Weinman drew one.

After the draw, Trivett checked and Weinman bet 20,000. Trivett went into the tank for a moment before he tossed out the chips to call. Weinman spread {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} across the felt for an ace-high flush and Trivett said "nice hand" while he threw the losing hand in the muck.

Ivey Busts Before the Break

Level 12
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Pot-Limit Omaha

Phil Ivey opened to Marcel Vonk who defended his big blind to the {k-}{10-}{6-} flop with two hearts. Vonk checked to Ivey, who made a continuation bet. Vonk then raised the pot and Ivey followed by committing the rest of his stack.

Phil Ivey showed {a-Hearts}{q-}{3-}{x-} with nut flush and broadway draws, while Vonk revealed {k-}{q-}{7-}{6-} for two pair. The turn {6-} gave Vonk a full house, and the river {8-Hearts} was no consolation to Ivey as he exited the tournament area.
