Klimczak's Wins with a Better Eight

Level 18

Razz

Faith Klimczak: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{7-}{k-}{2-}/{x-}
Steven Wolansky: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{4-}{8-}{7-}/{x-}

Steven Wolansky bet third street and Klimczak came along as the only caller. The same story unfolded on both fourth and fifth streets, Wolansky bet and Klimczak called again.

On sixth street, though, Wolansky checked when Klimczak picked up the {2-}. Now Klimczak bet and Wolansky called.

Seventh was dealt and Wolansky checked again. Klimczak checked behind.

"Seven, smooth," said Klimczak, as she showed {k-}{q-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}{a-}.

"Yeah, your seven is better," said Wolansky.

"I missed a bet," said Klimczak, but she still took down the nice-sized Razz pot.
