John Monnette had raised enough from the big blind pre-flop to leave himself only 6,000 behind and was called by both Faith Klimczak and Jorge Walker.

The flop came and Monnette stuck in his last chips. Walker raised to 30,000 and Klimczak called to see the on the turn.

Both players checked through to the when Klimczak put out a bet, eliciting a quick fold from Walker.

"Queens-full and a low," Klimczak said, turning over . Monnette showed before making his exit.

Action was on a river between Adam Friedman and Brian Rast. Friedman checked and Rast bet 60,000 into a pot of around 80,000. Friedman announced pot and check-raised to 258,000.

Rast tanked for a couple of minutes before folding. Friedman remains among the chip leaders with 15 minutes left in the level.

Action picked up on the flop with a large pot of over 100,000 in the middle. Adam Friedman had checked from the hijack to Alfred Atamian on the button. Atamian put out a bet of 32,000.

Friedman slid out a stack of 25,000 chips that covered Atamian for about 170,000 effective.

"See, this game was in the muck. All of a sudden, Pot Limit Hold 'Em and we got action," said another player at the table not in the hand.

"Are those all greens?" asked Atamian.

"Yeah, I put you all in," said Friedman.

Atamian thought for a while with his tournament life at risk. After a couple of minutes, he decided to fold.

"Show him the , said a tablemate. No, don't show him. Don't show him the you sicko."

Friedman didn't show anything, just mucked his cards and added the chips to his stack.

David Prociak and Jaswinder Lally just played another pot against each other, only this time it was Prociak who would come out in front.

Prociak raised from the cutoff before the first draw, Lally called from the button, and Dylan Smith came along from the big blind. Prociak and Lally took one, while Smith drew two.

Prociak bet again and only Lally called. He then patted on the second draw. "I hope this is the right one," Lally said as he took one and called.

Prociak patted and bet after the third draw, putting the decision on Lally. "Almost the right one, right," he asked Lally. The defending champion decided to give up the pot and threw his cards into the muck.

Soon after losing a big pot of Stud 8 to Faith Klimczak, Brett Richey got his last 20,000 in the middle against Dylan Smith.

Richey patted and Smith took one. "I'm probably live but this isn't it," Smith said as he drew another one on the second draw.

"This is," he said as he also patted on the final draw and showed an 8-6. "I have No. 2," Richey replied as he turned over to secure the much-needed double up.

Joshua Rhodes was all in pre-draw and found callers in Norman Chad and Maxx Coleman. Chad drew two, Rhodes drew two, and Coleman drew one. After the draw, Coleman bet 10,000 and Chad check-raised to 20,000. Coleman called and Rhodes was left to watch the side pot build a he was all in.

Both Chad and Coleman drew one, while Rhodes still drew two. Chad bet 20,000 and Coleman called again. On the final draw, Chad stood pat while Coleman drew one and Rhodes drew two again.

Chad bet 20,000 and Coleman went into the tank for about a minute. Chad slid out his now-infamous "bluff" chip. Coleman folded shortly after.

"No bluff," said Chad.

"Please tell me you have a three-card," said Rhodes.

"No, six-six," said Chad, and showed for the winner to scoop the pot and send Rhodes home.

Golden Nugget to Host $1,100 Buy-In, $1,000,000 GTD PokerNews Cup June 24-28

This summer, Golden Nugget Las Vegas will play host to the 14th Annual Grand Poker Series, which features 81 events and offers over $3 million in guaranteed prize money from May 31-July 3. One of those events is the $1,100 buy-in, $1,000,000 Guaranteed PokerNews Cup that will run from June 24-28.

The tournament will feature three starting flights beginning with Day 1a at 11 a.m. PT on Friday, June 24. Days 1b and 1c will take place at the same time on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26 respectively. The surviving players from each flight will return at Noon on Monday, June 27 to play down to the final table, which will play out at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28.
