Igwe Takes From Katchalov

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Wilson Igwe defended out of the small blind against a cutoff raise by Eugene Katchalov and was then spotted with a check-call on the {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} turn. He checked again the {k-Clubs} on the river and Katchalov bet. Igwe went into a brief tank and called to get shown the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights, which he had beat with the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens.

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Qinghai Pan: {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} / {j-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Kevin Song: {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} / {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Connor Drinan: {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}

Pan showed his queens and nines to chop the main pot and stay in contention with a very short stack.

Kelsall Gets Counterfeited

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Frankie O'Dell raised from the cutoff and Andrew Kelsall defended his big blind to see the {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop.

After a bet and call to the {8-Clubs} turn, Kelsall led out and O'Dell called. Kelsall bet again on the {8-Spades} river, and was quickly called by O'Dell.

Frankie O'Dell: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Andrew Kelsall: {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Kelsall smirked and said "counterfeited" as he got the bad news, and O'Dell took it down.

Philip Long: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

Seiver Gets Mirzikinian to Fold

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

With more than 130 entries in the mix, several new faces have appeared at the tables and one of them is Warwick Mirzikinian. The Aussie lost a small portion of his stack right away when he took on Scott Seiver.

Warwick Mirzikinian: {x-}{x-} / {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {x-}

The Aussie completed and then bet fourth to get called by Seiver. On fifth, Seiver took over the lead and bet for Mirzikinian to call. Another bet on sixth earned a call and seventh street was bet by Seiver once more. Mirzikinian mulled it over, double-checked his cards and opted to fold.
