Shack-Harris Eliminated by Wells

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Brandon Shack-Harris raised his final 55,000 chips and called by Robert Wells.

Brandon Shack-Harris: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}
Robert Wells: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Wells took the lead on the {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, and the {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Hearts} river were no help to Shack-Harris who wished the rest of the table good luck as he exited the tournament area.

Shaun Deeb's tournament came to an end on the first end back from dinner break. Robert McLaughlin joined him at the payout desk a few moments later.

Brown Takes a Chunk Off Fitoussi

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Stud 8 or Better

Thomas Brown: {x-}{x-}/{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts}/{x-}
Bruno Fitoussi: {x-}{x-}/{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}/{x-}

Thomas Brown and Bruno Fitoussi were heads-up on fifth street when Brown put out a bet and the French pro called.

Brown bet again on sixth and Fitoussi called. Fitoussi faced another bet on seventh and again flung in the chips to call.

Brown flipped over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for trip jacks and Fitoussi nodded his head in acknowledgement before mucking his cards.

Bai Tops a Million

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Richard Bai raised from early position and Sokchheka Pho called in the small blind.

Both players took two and Bai bet out. Pho called and took two more, while Bai drew one.

Bai bet again and Pho called after the second draw. Pho stood pat this time and Bai took one more.

Pho led out this time and Bai snap-called.

"Queen," Pho announced, but Bai showed {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to take the pot.

"Unbelievable. How good does he run," tablemate Yosif Nawabi said after the hand as Bai eclipsed 1,000,000

Nguyen Lucky Panagiotou Stands Pat

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jeff Shulman raised from the button before Menikos Panagiotou re-raised in the small blind.

"You reraise, baby," Scotty Nguyen asked before he put in a four-bet from the big blind. Shulman got out of the way, but Panagiotou called and took two.

Nguyen stood pat and bet out, with Panagiotou calling and taking another two. He check-called another bet after the second draw and stood pat.

Nguyen bet again and Panagiotou quickly called. Nguyen showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

"I want one card," Panagiotou joked with the dealer before taking the top card from the deck. He flipped it over and would have made {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} if he had drawn.

Bronstein Finishes Off Vornicu

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

A few hands after folding the river to a shove from Hye Park, Valentin Vornicu was all in for his last 135,000 from the small blind and up against big blind Noah Bronstein.

Valentin Vornicu: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Noah Bronstein: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Vornicu was dominated and the {3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board was not what he was hoping to see as the 12-time circuit ring winner made his way to the payout desk.
