Alfred Decarolis opened to 20,000 from under the gun and Chris Brewer called on his left. Alex Foxen was next to act and made it 80,000 to go. Both Decarolis and Brewer called as they went three ways to the flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

All three players checked and the {3-Hearts} hit the turn, putting four hearts on the board. Decarolis just open-shoved all in for 573,000 which got a fold from Brewer. Foxen asked for the count and then called.

Foxen flipped over {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for a king-high flush and Decarolis was drawing dead with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a jack-high flush. The insignificant {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Decarolis was eliminated.

"I folded a set," Brewer commented after the hand.

Decarolis quickly grabbed the necessary chips for a re-entry and headed off to the registration desk.

Sammartino's Raise Gets a Fold from Negreanu

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 18,000 from under the gun and was called by Koray Aldemir in the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu in the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {3-Spades} on the turn.

Negreanu led out with a bet of 40,000 which Sammartino called and Aldemir got out of the way. The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Negreanu fired out another bet of 40,000. Sammartino raised to 245,000 this time which perplexed Negreanu.

"Fold?" Negreanu seemed to question himself as his clock struck the 30-second mark. Negreanu's cards went into the muck and Sammartino collected the pot.

Christoph Vogelsang raised it up on the button and Chance Kornuth, who just took his seat in the big blind, three-bet to 80,000. Vogelsang called and they went heads-up to a flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Kornuth checked to Vogelsang who bet 55,000 and Kornuth just called. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Kornuth checked again. Vogelsang threw in a bet of 215,000 this time and Kornuth still called.

The {3-Spades} peeled off on the river and Kornuth quickly checked once more. Vogelsang pushed all but 1,000 chips into the middle, for a bet of 551,000. Kornuth asked for a count and then flicked in a single chip to signify a call. Kornuth instantly revealed {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Vogelsang flashed his {k-}{j-} before they went into the muck.
