Zinno Shortens Garza

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Anthony Zinno raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and was called on the button by Ap Garza.

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the {6-Clubs} turn, Zinno placed two green T-25,000 chips forward and Garza called.

The river brought the {10-Clubs}, and once more Zinno bet, this time to the tune of 110,000, which was slightly more than a third of Garza's remaining stack.

Garza took a moment, then folded to preserve his chips.

Deeb Dusted by "The Macho Man"

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dan Cates
Dan Cates

No-Limit Hold'em

After rebuilding his short stack to 600,000, Freddy Deeb was again short-stacked and down to his last 119,000, which he moved in from the cutoff, only to be called by defending champion Dan Cates.

Freddy Deeb: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Dan Cates: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}, sending Deeb to the rail and thwarting his comeback bid.

"Macho Man Dan don't f*** around" exclaimed Cates, as he dragged enough chips to vault him to the two million chip mark.

One Way Traffic for Baker Continues

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Seven Card Stud

David "ODB" Baker: {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} / {6-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} / {x-}

David "ODB" Baker bet fifth street with an ace and three clubs showing on his open board, picking up a call by Scott Seiver with a king-high diamond board. On sixth street, Baker check-called after pairing his ace and then bet seventh.

Seiver tank-called and was shown a flush to muck his cards.

"We can still cross-book," Seiver joked and then added, more to himself and uttering "just fold fourth ...".

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Razz

Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{k-}{3-}{j-} folded on sixth
Johannes Becker: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{4-}{6-}{7-}

Daniel Negreanu completed with a six and started recording for his vlog, indicating that his short stack may be getting in despite the betting limits in Razz. He was called by Johannes Becker and spiked a king on fourth while Becker paired up, prompting a bet by Negreanu and a call by Becker.

On fifth, both players checked and Negreanu check-folded sixth to drop to an even shorter stack.

Zinno No More; Yu Hits a Wheel Against Kenney

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Omaha Hi-Lo

With one table to break after the next elimination, it was Anthony Zinno as one of the shorter stacks to run out of chips. In an Omaha Hi-Lo hand, he was all-in and at risk after the turn against Ap Garza according to both Garza and Ben Yu. Zinno's {q-}{8-}{4-}{3-} was marginally ahead versus Garza's {a-}{q-}{8-}{7-} but the latter rivered a straight and superior low on a {10-}{9-}{3-}{2-}{6-} runout.

Razz

Ap Garza: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{q-}{3-} folded on fifth
Ben Yu: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{a-}{2-}{7-} / {x-}
Bryn Kenney: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{a-}{9-}{q-} / {x-}

The game variant changed the very next hand as Koray Aldemir arrived in the seat of Zinno but wasn't dealt in yet. Bryn Kenney bet his lead against Yu and Garza with the latter folding on fifth street while Yu called up until sixth.

On seventh, Kenney check-called and Yu rolled over the {5-}{4-}{3-} for a wheel to scoop the pot.

Weinman Put on Fumes by Moncek

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

Adam Friedman raised in the hijack and was called by Michael Moncek in the small blind and Daniel Weinman in the big blind.

On the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop, action was checked to Friedman who bet, but he was then check-raised by Moncek. Weinman opted to call, as did Friedman.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Moncek led out with a bet. Again Weinman called, but Friedman opted to fold.

Now heads-up to the river, the dealer dropped the {3-Hearts} on the board and again Moncek bet. This time Weinman folded, leaving himself with just over 100,000 chips.
