Buriachenko and Lowery Both Find Doubles

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Krista Lowery
Krista Lowery

Action started with Halyna Buriachenko and Dannah Kamp both getting all their chips in the middle preflop and flipping their cards over. Burichenko was at risk with a stack of about 85,000.

Halyna Buriachenko: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Dannah Kamp: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Buriachenko found a queen on the flop when the {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} hit the board. The {3-Diamonds} locked it up for Buriachenko, and the {k-Diamonds} was salt in the wound for Kamp.

**********

At the next table over, Krista Lowery moved all in from early position for 88,000. Ruth Graham also shoved, from middle position, and had Lowery well-covered. The rest of the table folded.

"I only looked at one," said Lowery.

Ruth Graham: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Krista Lowery: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

That one was all she needed when the flop came out {6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, drilling top pair. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {10-Hearts} river changed nothing and Lowery survived.
