Joshi Eliminates Lewis

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Neel Joshi bet 100,000 from the button and was met with an all in from Romain Lewis for 800,000. Joshi gave Lewis the courtesy of showing his cards to him before making the call.

Romain Lewis: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Neel Joshi: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

There was not much help for Lewis on the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. The {5-Hearts} gave additional wheel-outs, but the {8-Spades} river confirmed Lewis' exit and Joshi chipped up even further.

Rodriguez Finds Ladies to Double Through Jackson

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jose Rodriguez ended up getting his 725,000 chips in from early position and was at risk against David Jackson in the cutoff.

Jose Rodriguez: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
David Jackson: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Rodriguez was ahead with the queens, and the board ran out {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to secure the double, while Jackson lost with nines against a superior pocket pair on a second occasion in a short period of time.

Scardina Finds Rockets to Double Through Jackson

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

David Jackson opened to 100,000 under the gun, Richard Scardina three-bet to 275,000 in middle position, and Jackson moved all in. Scardina snap-called for his 940,000 chips.

Richard Scardina: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
David Jackson: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop kept the aces ahead, although the {5-Hearts} turn gave Jackson a gutshot draw. The {a-Hearts} completed the board, however, to secure the double for Scardina with a boat.

Jackson Sends Middleton To Pay Cage

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
David Jackson
David Jackson

David Jackson and Tom Middleton had their chips in the middle with Middleton at risk for 705,000.

Tom Middleton: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
David Jackson: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

There was no help for Middleton on a board of {8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Jackson adds to his significant stack. Middleton, who won EPT Barcelona in 2013, still awaits his first WSOP bracelet.

Ito Survives Cooler Rollercoaster

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Keiji Ito had gotten his 1,865,000 in from middle position and was at risk against Diego Ventura in early position.

Keiji Ito: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Diego Ventura: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was a classic cooler of aces versus kings, and the {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop instantly flipped the cooler around and put Ventura ahead. The {9-Spades} turn left Ito needing a river ace, and the {a-Spades} indeed spiked the river to flip the cooler right back around again as Ito survived and secured the double.
