Double-Ups for Lewis and Le

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Toby Lewis got the last of his short stack in and grinned "I am happy to take the fold here". However, Iakov Onuchin called and the cards were flipped over.

Toby Lewis: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Iakov Onuchin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The {9-Spades} turn gave Lewis the straight and the {7-Clubs} river brought no shenanigans.

Moments later, Allan Le doubled through Elior Sion one table over when his {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} on a board of {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Tesfaldet Tekle Eliminated in 22nd Place ($41,985)

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Tesfaldet Tekle
Tesfaldet Tekle

Tesfaldet Tekle opened the action with a raise to 120,000 from under the gun and Elior Sion then three-bet the pot to 380,000 out of the big blind. Tekle gave it some thought and called for nearly half of his remaining stack, which led them to the {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop.

Sion moved all-in after just a mere second and Tekle called for around 400,000.

Tesfaldet Tekle: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Elior Sion: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The {6-Clubs} turn further reduced the outs of Tekle and he failed to improve on the {8-Hearts} river to bow out in 22nd place.

John Beauprez Eliminated in 23rd Place ($41,985)

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

John Beauprez got his shorter stack in after a {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and tabled the {k-}{q-}{j-}{8-} for the top pair and an open-ended straight draw very soon after the final three tables were set.

He was looked up by Jered Bettencourt with the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the redraw to the nut straight and the flush draw. Bettencourt immediately got there on the {5-Hearts} turn to leave Beauprez drawing dead and that made the {4-Spades} river a formality.

Brandon Adams

Just after the redraw, Brandon Adams found himself all in preflop for his last 335,000 against Jachim Haraldstad.

Brandon Adams: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Joachim Haraldstad: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The board came {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}, failing to pair Adams, as Haraldstad's five paired to give him the win.

Duek Eliminates Lankinen; Time for Redraw

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Michael Duek
Michael Duek

After Tommi Lankinen three-bet from the small blind to 310,000 after Michael Duek's under the gun open, Duek called to see a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

Lankinen then jammed for roughly 600,000 and was called by Duek.

Tommi Lankinen: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Michael Duek: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Lankinen's aces would have to fade Duek's wrap and backdoor flush draw, but couldn't as the board came {k-Spades}{10-Spades} to give Duek the flush and send the final 24 players to a three-table redraw.

Sion More Than Doubles Thanks to Coleman's Fold

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Coleman from under the gun and Xunen Zheng in the hijack limped in and Elior Sion then raised the pot to 220,000 on the button. Coleman reluctantly called and Zheng made it three ways to the {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. It checked to Sion who moved all-in for 135,000 and Coleman tank-folded while Zheng sigh-called.

Elior Sion: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Xunen Zheng: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {q-Spades} turn and {k-Spades} river saw Coleman jump out of his seat in disgust as he would have hit a flush while Sion more than doubled and Zheng became one of the shortest stacks.

Onuchin Busts Zerkal and Leonard

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard raised the pot to 140,000 and Lev Zerkal called all-in for 70,000. Iakov Onuchin then repotted and Leonard called all-in for another 310,000 on top of Zerkal's short stack.

Lev Zerkal: {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Patrick Leonard: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Iakov Onuchin: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Onuchin riverd a set of aces to eliminate both shorter stacks.

Duek Over Five Million After Eliminating Wagganer

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Michael Duek
Michael Duek

Michael Duek raised to 90,000 on the button and was called by Michael Wagganer in the big blind.

The {10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop was checked through, but on the {3-Hearts} turn, Wagganer bet 125,000, which Duek called.

The river {j-Hearts} saw Wagganer move all in for approximately his last 280,000 and Duek called.

Wagganer tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for two pair, tens and threes. Duek showed {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a rivered jack-high flush to send Wagganer to the rail.
