Loving Gets Top Pair to Stand Down

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. From early position, Carlos Loving bet 300,000 into a pot of about the same size.

His opponent was in the big blind and checked his cards on multiple occasions before eventually relinquishing them while showing the {k-Spades} face up and sending the pot across the table to Loving.

Isrealashvili's Broadway Crushed By Flush

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Roland Isrealashvili was seen standing up and waiting for payouts as his {k-}{q-} broadway on a board of {8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-}{j-Hearts} was inadequate against the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Rodney Boswell who was scooping the large pot and surging himself toward the top of the chip counts.

"Houvering" Up Chips

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jorge Hou
Jorge Hou

Jorge Hou has had a good start to Day 2 as he was spotted taking all of the chips of a fallen opponent as the board read {8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Hou had the winning hand with the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush while his opponent had the {a-}{k-} for no good top two, as he became one of the bigger stacks early on Day 2.

Bullets vs Rockets Provides Some Sweat

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Robert Resurreccion and Joseph Hebert found themselves both all in preflop and lo and behold they turned over the same hand.

Robert Resurreccion: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Joseph Hebert: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Resurreccion was at risk against the 2020 WSOP Main Event runner up but in all likelihood, the two would be chopping up the pot.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades} to give Hebert the freeroll. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} as the table reacted to the now serious chance of a brutal beat, but the river was the {8-Hearts} to confirm the chop pot.

Nieman Off to Good Start

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

One of the big stacks to start the day, Tony Nieman added more to his stack early as his {k-}{k-} held up in an all in vs his at risk opponent holding {9-}{8-} with a nine showing on the flop.

The turn and river did not help the shorter stacked opponent and Nieman gathered in the chips to add to his haul.
