Delvecchio Takes From Moreno

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With over 15,000 in the middle on a {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board, Michael Delvecchio III bet 4,600 in the big blind, and Andrew Moreno called in the hijack.

Under the gun, a player raised to 1,400 and found three callers, including Shawn Daniels in middle position and Martin Jacobson in the small blind.

The flop showed up {7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. All four players checked the street.

On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Jacobson led out for 3,500. Everyone folded except for Daniels, who came along with a call.

The river fell the {a-Clubs}, Jacobson fired again, this time to the tune of 10,000. After thinking for about 30 seconds, Daniels made the fold and shipped the pot over to the former Main Event Champ.

Gaston Goes Deep Into Tank While Stepuchin Sings

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Three-way action was on the flop of {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Frank Stepuchin bet 2,500 from the hijack, Michael Macchia raised to 8,500 from the small blind, Tyler Gaston called in early position and Stepuchin talked it out a bit before folding. After he folded, Stepuchin started to sing a bit while Gaston and Macchia battled out the rest of the hand.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}. Macchia bet 13,000, Gaston called.

The river came the {9-Clubs}. Macchia jammed all in for about 38,000 which was very close to Gaston's amount as the two had nearly identical stacks. Gaston went deep into the tank and while he was thinking, Stepuchin continued to sing some and talk to people at other tables.

"I can beat all your sets," said Gaston to Macchia.

After about four full minutes, Gaston reluctantly and slowly slid his cards forward for the fold and Macchia gathered the pot, while Stepuchin was warned by the floor for being too loud and told to tone it down a bit.

Labat Gets the Better of Bar Lev Again

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Antoine Labat raised to 1,300 from the cutoff as Roy Bar Lev came along on the button. The flop came {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Labat check-called a bet of 2,000.

Both players checked the {k-Spades} turn before Labat led out for 5,500 on the {3-Clubs} river.

Bar Lev went into the tank for about two minutes before Ryan Depaulo called the clock. "What a weird hand," the Israeli native said as he called before the tournament floor even arrived.

Labat turned over {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} to take another pot from his table neighbor, climbing above 200,000.

D'Ambrosio Confuses Corbin, But Corbin Takes the Pot

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jimmy D'Ambrosio

There was about 17,000 on the {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Jimmy D'Ambrosio bet 8,000. Nate Corbin called.

"You're gonna try to fight for it I see that," said D'Ambrosio.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and D'Ambrosio started with the talk again.

"Oh I gotta check the s*** out of that," he said.

Corbin checked back.

"Oh no," said D'Ambrosio. "Don't check that."

"You didn't want me to?" said Corbin.

"No I didn't want you to," said D'Ambrosio.

The river was the {j-Clubs} and the action was D'Ambrosio.

"I'm trying to figure out how to get the rest of your chips," he said. "This is gonna be a thin value bet."

He bet 600 and the table laughed at the small sizing.

"You should pile it in," said D'Ambrosio. "Send it, send it."

"Hi mom," Scotty Smith interjected, catching a glance of the PokerNews live reporting team.

Corbin just called the 600 and D'Ambrosio showed {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for king-high and a busted flush draw. While Corbin tabled {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} ace-high to win the pot.

"I needed you to raise so I could pile it in," said D'Ambrosio.

He still sits among the leaders late in the night, while Smith got his shoutout to his mom back home.

Benso Takes One from Nguyen

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Preflop action folded around to Sergio Benso in the small blind, who limped. 2016 Main Event Champion Qui Nguyen raised to 2,600. Benso put in a reraise to 7,100. After a quick moment or two of thought, Nguyen put in the call.

On the {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, Benso continued for 5,000. Nguyen called.

On the {k-Hearts} turn, Benso checked to Nguyen, who fired for 15,000. Benso let out a big sigh and leaned back in his chair, before making the call.

On the {7-Spades} river, Benso fired for 10,000 and got called. He turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for a full house, and Nguyen mucked his hand.
