Rueger Chips Up Big, Stacks Opponent

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

An early position player opened to 1,200 and saw two callers, including Tyler Rueger on the button. Michael Zelman three-bet from the big blind to 6,500.

Action folded all the way back to Rueger on the button who back-raised four-bet to 17,000. Zelman thought for a bit and announced, "all in," a bet of 48,500.

After getting a count, Rueger made the call.

Michael Zelman: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Tyler Rueger: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Rueger was in good shape when the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} hit the flop. The {3-Diamonds} turn and {4-Hearts} river didn't help Zelman, who was eliminated. Rueger added to his stack that is now one of the biggest in the room.

D'Ambrosio Back to Patented Table Talk, Unbeknownst to Opponent

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jimmy D'Ambrosio
Jimmy D'Ambrosio

There was about 15,000 on the {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} river and Jimmy D'Ambrosio overbet to 18,900. His opponent was in the tank taking his time.

"It's cheaper to believe," said D'Ambrosio. "I know you're baffled."

It turns out that the player had his headphones in and didn't hear a word.

"Oh you didn't hear anything," said D'Ambrosio. "Now I gotta start all over."

His opponent folded and asked for him to show.

"I can't show," he said. "I can't, Ian over here is dying for information."

D'Ambrosio gestured to his neighbor as he dragged another pot to push over 200,000.

Dursel Calls McNicholas

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was a pot of around 30,000 brewing in the middle as the board read {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs} on the river. From the hijack, Euan McNicholas bet 16,000 which sent Igor Dursel deep into the tank.

After well over a minute Dursel called. McNicholas flipped over the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} which Dursel had defeated as he showed the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Labat Gets Paid Off on the River

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Antoine Labat was facing a bet of 16,000 on the turn from Roy Bar Lev with the board showing {10-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The 2018 Main Event finalist called and they saw the {10-Diamonds} on the river.

Bar Lev slowed down and checked as Labat sat still for a moment before announcing a bet of 14,000. Bar Lev went into the tank for about a minute before throwing in the call.

Labat showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a straight and Bar Lev mucked.

Ryan Depaulo is sitting to the direct left of both players with a chip lead contending stack of 200,000.

Dzivielevski Puts Yurasov to Crucial Decision

Yuri Dzivielevski

A full board was spread on the table and showed {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Around 35,000 was in the pot and Dmitry Yurasov was out of position from under the gun.

He checked to his sole opponent in the hand, Yuri Dzivielevski in late position. Dzivielevski tossed out two green chips worth 50,000, enough to cover the 35,300 in Yurasov's stack.

Yurasov thought for about two minutes, then decided to fold and live to fight for another pot.
