Holloway Gets Lucky River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Preflop action had Canada's Landon Holloway raising to 1,000 from early position. The button called along with the player under the gun and the three of them saw a flop {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Holloway bet 2,000 and got a call from the button while the other player folded.

A {7-Clubs} on the turn was checked by both remaining players.

On the river was an {a-Hearts} that had Holloway and the button both checking. Holloway flipped over {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the top pair he hit on the river was good to take down the pot.

Troya Sends One Out

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The flop already showed {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Spades} in a heads-up pot when all the chips went in the middle between Adrian Troya and his opponent in the big blind, at risk for 26,500:

Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Adrian Troya: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The big blind had some hopes for the double up with top pair while Troya had a flush and straight draw. The turn bricked with the {3-Hearts} but a {4-Spades} showed up on the river to give to Troya one of the outs he needed to bust his opponent and win the pot.

Ng Gets Revenge on Yankov

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Brian Ng, who lost the big pot to Krasmir Yankov earlier with top set against a flush, was just involved in another pot with Bulgarian that had a different outcome.

Ng called a re-raise of 4,500 from Yankov before the flop as they saw the {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} fall. Yankov, in the small blind, bet 3,000 and Ng called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Yankov slowed down and checked. Ng tossed out four red 5,000 chips for a bet of 20,000 and Yankov went into the tank for about a minute before folding.

"Good fold," Ng said as he raked in the pot. After being knocked down to 30,000 in the first level of the day, Ng has rebuilt his stack to more than 70,000.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Limo Greene check-called a bet of 4,000. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}. It went check-check.

The {a-Diamonds} filled out the river. Limo Greene changed up the flow and led for 5,000. Her opponent seemed stumped by the bet and took over a minute before he eventually slid his cards forward for the fold.

Matusow Gets Away from Top-Top

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There was around 7,000 in the pot on the {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} completed board and Mike Matusow checked in the small blind.

Mark Pett, who had just taken a chunk out of Matusow's stack, bet 5,000 from the cutoff.

"You bluffing me this time?" asked Matusow.

'The Mouth' repeated counted his chips and toyed with his cards before open-folding his {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Pett at first flicked over a {5-Clubs} and then the {5-Hearts} to show Matusow that he had indeed flopped another set against him.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

In a three-bet pot with 5,400 in the middle, action was picked up on the turn.

On the {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} board, Liam Murray checked in the big blind before Daniel Negreanu fired for 3,000 from the cutoff.

Murray took a few moments before laying it down.

"Nice bluff Daniel," said the Australian with Negreanu telling his tablemate that he made a good laydown.
