Dimov Forces Opponent Out on the Turn

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ognyan Dimov
Ognyan Dimov

In a heads-up pot between Sundiata DeVore and Ognyan Dimov, both players saw a flop of {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

DeVore led from the small blind for 75,000 into the pot of about 180,000. Ognyan Dimov raised from the hijack up to 200,000. DeVore made the call.

The turn brought the {7-Spades}, and DeVore checked to the flop-raiser. Dimov thought for a bit before moving all in, 440,000 effective that was in DeVore's stack.

DeVore thought for a bit before tossing his cards into the muck as Dimov chipped up even more.

Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

The cutoff opened to 24,000 and Jake Schindler called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the cutoff continued for 45,000. Schindler called.

On the {a-Diamonds} turn, the cutoff took a little more than 30 seconds before checking back.

On the {k-Hearts} river, Schindler put out a bet of 16,000 into the pot 144,000-chip pot. Although it was a relatively small bet, the cutoff still folded and Schindler would take his stack back to 775,000.

Holley Hits the Rail, Keating Bluffs It Off

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

John Holley was down to his last 80,000 chips and shoved all in from early position. The action folded around to the big blind who quickly made the call.

John Holley: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} as Holley picked up a straight and flush draw on the turn but bricked out on the river.

On the next hand, a completed board of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds} was spread across the felt with around 300,000 in the middle. Alex Keating had a bet of 125,000 in front of him and the big blind was in the tank.

Eventually, Keating called the clock and his opponent wasted little time before calling after that. Keating showed {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for complete air while his opponent had {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of fives.

Baime Makes a Wheel

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Kenneth Baime was in position in a four-way pot on a board of {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

The action checked to Baime and he bet around 53,000. One player folded while the next player check-jammed a stack of about 183,000. Michael Rocco folded to get the hand heads-up and Baime called with a bigger stack.

Opponent: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Kenneth Baime: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The opponent had the best hand with a set but Baime had plenty of outs with straight and flush draws. He didn't have to wait long as the {2-Clubs} on the turn gave him a Wheel and his opponent hit the rail after failing to fill up on the {9-Diamonds} river.

Pignatelli Felts Lie

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Aylar Lie
Aylar Lie

Ryan Pignatelli opened to 30,000 on the button and was called by John Juanda in the small blind. Aylar Lie then jammed for 114,000 from the big blind. Pignatelli raised over the top and Juanda got out of the way.

Ayalr Lie: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Ryan Pignatelli: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Lie would need to connect to stay alive but had one foot out of the door on the {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop. The {5-Hearts} gave Pignatelli a pair and the {2-Diamonds} river confirmed the Norwegian's exit.
