GatheringInn Gathers In The Pot

''GatheringInn''

Blinds: 2,500/5,000

After action was on ''GatheringInn'' in early position, they moved all in for 72,190, before next to act player ''rnrrnrFlush'' called all in for their last 50,685. The other players folded and cards were on their backs.

''rnrrnrFlush'': {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
''GatheringInn'': {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

''GatheringInn'' was way ahead and although the {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop gave additional outs to their opponent, the {a-Clubs} and {9-Clubs} turn and river sealed the deal, bolstering ''GatheringInn'' and busting ''rnrrnrFlush''.

Is It a Bird? Is It a Plane? Is it an Ex-Packers Quarterback Legend? No, It's POY Leader Dan Zack!

Daniel "Brett_Favre" Zack
Daniel "Brett_Favre" Zack

Blinds: 2,000/4,000

A huge boost for the 2022 World Series of Poker player of the year came, as Dan "Brett_Favre" Zack has taken out an opponent and gave himself a great chance of adding more Player of the Year (POY) points to his already healthy lead.

After James "pipedream16" Romero opened to 8,000 from the button, Zack piled his stack back towards Romero, who called all in for his last 61,000 chips.

When the board ran out {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, it was Zack's {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} that trumped the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} of Romero, busting him before the money. You could say his pipe dream of a bracelet is over, for now.

Huge Cold Deck Favors ''Turkish'' Over Enger

''Turkish''
''Turkish''

Blinds 1,700/3,400

After Jason "jayriv" Rivkin opened from the hijack to 7,150 chips, action folded to the button, Joe "Jenger420" Enger, who raised to 22,450. Just behind him in the small blind was ''Turkish'', who then moved all in for 113,500 chips. Rivkin let his holding go and Enger called the all in.

Turkish: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Joe "Jenger420" Enger: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

It was an unavoidable cooler spot and on the {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} run out, the aces held and improved to a flush to double ''Turkish'' up.
