Korn Forces Out Alt

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Having raised from an early position, Andres Korn then bet 100,000 when checked to by Dinesh Alt out of the big blind on the AK10 flop. Alt called and checked again on the 9 turn as Korn moved forward a stack of T-25,000 denominations.

As Alt eyeballed the chips and inquired how much it was, Korn instantly replied "four seventy five" which was indeed the betting amount. The Swiss gave it some consideration and folded.

Ahuja Takes From Henderson

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Trace Henderson defended the big blind against a cutoff raise by Ankit Ahuja and opted to lead the 532K turn for 135,000. Ahuja raised it up to 290,000 and Henderson called. Both checked the J river and Henderson flashed what appeared to be 54 for a pair and missed straight draw.

Ahuja had that beat with the 1010 and won the pot.

Mike Sowers Eliminated in 18th Place ($14,330)

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mike Sowers
Mike Sowers

Down to the last 550,000, Mike Sowers moved all in from the cutoff and it folded around to Valentino Konakchiev in the big blind. He tanked without asking for an exact count as Sowers had immediately clarified it was 550,000. Two minutes passed and Konakchiev then eventually called.

Mike Sowers: 88
Valentino Konakchiev: QJ

The KQ10 flop had Sowers with one step out of the door and he vaulted out of the chair already. Nothing changed with the 2 turn and 4 river to end his run in 18th place for $14,330.

Korn Powers Way to Secure Pot

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

After the action in front of him folded, Andres Korn raised 125,000 on the button. The small blind folded, but Ori Hasson defended his blind.

The flop saw 1037 on the board, which Hasson checked. Korn bet 100,000, and Hasson called. The 7 appeared on the turn to pair the board, which both checked.

The dealer then placed K on the river, which Hasson bet 60,000 into Korn. Things got interesting when Korn grabbed a barrel of 25,000 and pushed it forward, a move that signaled a 500,000 raise.

Korn had Hasson covered, as Hasson had approximately 360,000 behind. After a few seconds of counting out the chips, Hasson folded.

Farrell Gets Value From Ding

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In the last hand on their table, Biao Ding defended the big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Niall Farrell. The two players checked the KQ4 flop and Ding then check-called the J turn for 200,000.

After the 7 river, Ding checked again and Farrell made it 480,000 to go. Ding reluctantly called and mucked when Farrell tabled the A10 for broadway.

Tony Miles

Tony Miles had just 25,000 when the players returned from the break. He had two hands to see before the big blind hit him but folded the first.

He decided to take a stand when he was under the gun and moved all in.

The action folded to the small blind, who called, but was forced out when Trace Henderson raised to 260,000 in the big blind. The cards were then tabled.

Miles: 96
Henderson: K2

The flop came 1088, which gave Miles a gut-shot straight draw. But 5 on the turn and 5 on the river gave Henderson’s king the pot.

Miles exits in 19th place for $14,330.
