On a board of A♣3♥J♣10♦9♦ Paulo Gini pushed all in for 22,000 in to the pot. The opponent called the all in.

Gini had A♠K♥ and the opponent had 7♦7♥. Gini took down the pot with top pair.

Gini then stated that "AK is always Brazil" and one of his opponents had said that he had "lost already with AK two times" so he was not sure how true that statement was.

Peppe Turns the Nuts for a Swift Double Up

With a pot of about 60,000, Vic Peppe announced he was all in for 35,800, on the board of 10♠4♦9♦8♣, laying his tournament life on the line. After tanking for a minute or two, his opponent elected to call. Peppe flipped over J♠Q♦ showing his nut straight while his opponent was drawing to four outs with 10♣9♣.

Fortunately for Peppe, the river changed nothing as a 6♣ appeared allowing him to scoop the pot. With this chip up, Peppe now sits pretty with 131,600 chips at the break.

The early position folded but the remaining player called off 40,000. Bonomo showed J against AQ for the opponent, who was dominated.

Aces hold for Wallace as he Triples Up

Action starts preflop with an open raise to 6,000 in early position. A quick raise to 12,000 followed by a call, allowed the late position player to jam all in for 51,000. With one fold, Wallace quickly made the call followed by one other playing making it a heads up side pot after the flop. Before any cards come, Wallace pushed his remaining chips forward going all in for 24,000.

The flop came 2♦8♠3♦ as the remaining player finds a call. Wallace flips over A♦A♠ dominating both other players hands of [Js10s} and 10♣10♥

The board changes nothing on the turn and river as the 2♣Q♣ appear. With one elimination, Wallace's Aces hold bringing his chip total to a massive 207,000.
