Broad Shoves, Schreiber Tanks

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Matthew Schreiber raised to 40,000 preflop under the gun. Action folded to Kenny Broad in the big blind, who went all in.

"Can I get a count?" asked Schreiber. The bet was counted down - 375,000. "So it's 375 total? Okay, I need a bit. Sorry everyone, give me like thirty seconds."

Schreiber then began to think out loud. "I wish I was a tournament player so I knew what to do here." After a few more moments, folded. "You had to have queens or ace-king," said Pat Lyons, who was also at the table.

"Oh, well that makes me feel a lot better about my fold," said Schreiber. "I had king-queen suited," he told Broad.

Broad exposed the A as he collected the pot.

Kusnerak Scores the Double Knockout and Sends Saliba to the Rail

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After significant action the cards are on their back in a three way, all in pot. There is a middle position player with the shortest stack, Justin Saliba with slightly more, and Daniel Kusnerak has them both covered.

Middle Position: QQ
Justin Saliba: AQ
Daniel Kusnerak: A10

There is an absolute action flop of 8910 that gives everyone a sweat. Middle position still in the lead with his ladies, Saliba holding the nut heart draw, and Kusnerak hitting top pair.

The turn brings no help in the 7 but the river is brutal for the all in players as the 10 hits the felt and gives Kusnerak trips and a double knockout.

Daniels Scores Knockout

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A player moved all in from under the gun for their last 145,000 and action folded around to Jake Daniels in late position. He opted to raise to 365,000, enough to force the remaining players out of the hand and put the under the gun player officially at risk.

Under the Gun Player: KJ
Jake Daniels: AQ

The under the gun player did have two live cards but failed to connect on the 7Q5310 runout, bringing his tournament to a close late in the day. Daniels, meanwhile, saw his stack move north of the 500,000 mark courtesy of the knockout.
