Martin Jacobson opened under the gun to 900 and a player on the button made the call. Andrew Moreno also defended his big blind and they were off to a flop three ways.
The 10♥Q♥5♠ flop hit the felt and Moreno checked. Jacobson continued his story and put out a wager of 1,100. Both players made the call.
The 10♠ turn slowed down the action and it checked through pretty quickly.
The board double paired and brought in a flush on the Q♠ river and finally action checked through again. Moreno tabled J♣9♥ for a flopped open ender and Jacobson tabled K♦J♥ for a flopped gutshot and an over. King high would end up dragging the pot as the button mucked.

Matt Zarcadoolas raised to 700 from middle position with the button player coming in for a call. The small blind made the minimum raise to 1,100 leading to a call from Zarcadoolas and a debate between the players and dealers as to whether the 1,100 constituted a legal raise size.
After a short back and forth, it was agreed that the dealer was right and the raise stood. With action back on the seemingly somewhat frustrated player in the button, he announced all in and put his chips forward. The small blind folded and Zarcadoolas decided to put in the call and send the pair to a run out.
Button: K♠10♦
Matt Zarcadoolas: 4♣4♦
The board ran out 9♣Q♥6♦3♦5♠, offering no improvement to the player in the big blind, as Zarcadoolas collected his chips and sent him to the rail with an early bust out.

With 5,500 in the middle, the turn read 4♥3♠3♦5♥ and Viktor Lavi check-called a bet of 2,000.
The 2♠ landed on the river and Lavi checked once again. His opponent paused for a moment before checking back. Lavi instantly tabled 7♥6♣ for a straight to the seven and his opponent mucked while attempting to flash one card.

Action folded to Bin Weng in the cutoff who opened to 700. A player next to act on the button then put in the the three bet to 2,100. Fabrice Bigot was in the small blind and put in the cold four bet to 7,000. Weng got out of the way but the button player made the call. The players were off to a flop heads up.
The 7♥2♠3♠ flop landed and Bigot took a moment before putting out a bet of 4,000. There was some thought from the button player but ultimately there was no resistance as he released his hand and Bigot scooped a nice pot early on day one.
