The small blind tossed his cards into the muck but Johann Beaudet decided on a call from the big blind to put his opponent at risk.

The Q65 flop was safe for the player on the button, as was the A turn, but the K river gave Beaudet the best hand and sent his opponent to the rail.

Action is picked up when Jose 'Nacho' Barbero called an over bet of 14,000 on the turn from a player in the cutoff. The board read 4726 and the players were off to a river.

The 3 river landed and the player that bet the turn went into the tank for over two minutes before putting out a bet of 23,000. Nacho tossed in a chip as fast as he could.

The cards hit their back and the aggressor showed J8 for jack high and Barbero tabled 67 for top two and scooped the pot.

Jørstad Check-Raises the Flop

There was 6,800 in the middle and the flop read QQ3 and 2022 Main Event Champion Espen Jørstad checked to his opponent who fired a bet of 3,500.

The action was back on Jørstad who eventually put in the check-raise to 10,000. His opponent whispered some words to his neighbor and pitched his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Jørstad.

On the latest The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP),Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen are joined by Poker Hall of Famer Jack McClelland, who served as the Tournament Director of the WSOP from 1984-98.

He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2014 alongside Daniel Negreanu, and he talks about that honor as well as memories of Stu Ungar and Doyle Brunson, and what it was like to work for the legendary Benny Binion.

Yoon Continues His Winning Ways

Action folded around to Brian Yoon in the small blind who limped. The big blind player checked his option behind and the two saw a flop of 83A.

Yoon decided to throw out a bet of 1,000. His opponent in the big blind settled on a call and watched as the 10 hit the turn.

Yoon took the lead again a fired out a bet of 3,000 and after some thought, his opponent made the call again to send the two players to a 6 river card.

Yoon gave his decision a minute or two of thought but eventually reached for enough chips to put his opponent all in, tossing out five 5,000 denomination chips.

His opponent did some thinking of his own before ultimately deciding to toss his cards into the much and concede the pot to Yoon without showdown.

Yoon, fresh off his of winning is fifth bracelet last week, is a perennial one to watch at the World Series of Poker.

Pupillo Drags a Pot

With 8,500 in the middle, the turn read K75A and Nick Pupillo check-called a bet of 5,500.

When the 9 hit the river, Pupillo checked and his opponent knuckled back. Pupillo tabled 107 for a pair of sevens, which was good enough to drag the pot.
