Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos raised from the hijack to 1,300 finding three callers in the cutoff, small blind and Ivan Deyra in the big blind.

The flop came 96J. With the action checked back to Mateos, he continued for 1,500. Only Deyra continued as he raised the bet to 5,500. Mateos called.

The turned 3 checked through revealing the 7 on the river. Both players now looking at a flush on board, Deyra led out for 4,000. Mateos considered his options before shoving all in putting Deyra's tournament life on the line.

Seif Takes on Two Opponents

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

In a three-way pot, the action was checked to Mark Seif in the hijack who was looking at four cards that read 5Q210.

With two opponents left in the pot, Seif jammed all in for his last 10,300, a bet big enough to fold out both the player in the big blind and the player in middle position.

Saif slowly regained some of the chips he'd lost from the start of the days play.

Kalas Calls Down

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Kane Kalas
Kane Kalas

Action folded to Kristen Foxen in early position who opened to 2,000. Next to act was Kane Kalas who made the call and the button called behind. The players were off to a flop three ways.

The 489 flop hit the felt and action checked all the way through.

The 2 landed on the turn and Foxen then put her foot back on the gas and put out a bet of 9,000. Kalas essentially snap called and the button folded.

The river ran out a Q and Foxen went into the tank for about a minute before putting out a value sizing of 15,000. Kalas went into the tank. He thought it over for about two min before putting in the chips.

Foxen said "ace high" and flashed the A3 for a missed flush and Kalas tabled 1010 for middle pair. Kalas dragged the pot.
