"You Gotta Believe Me!"

The player in the cutoff raised to 5,000 and both the small blind and Stephen Horniacek in the big blind called to see a flop of A♠K♦J♣.

The small blind player and Horniacek both checked over to the cutoff who continued with a bet of 4,000. The small blind called to put action back on Horniacek, who decided to check-raise to 18,000.

The cutoff folded but the small blind called and watched as the 6♦ hit the turn.

The small blind checked and Horniacek quickly bet out 22,000. His opponent in the small blind glanced at his cards one last time then slid them toward the muck, eliciting a, "Woo!" from Horniacek as he turned over the 5♦7♥ for a pure bluff.

"You gotta believe me if I put half my stack in, right?!" he said to his opponent as he raked in his newly acquired chips.
