Vasquez apparently liked what he saw because he called, as did the big blind, to bring three-way action to the flop.
The dealer placed 8♣5♥3♥ on the board, which Vasquez and the big blind checked. The original raiser bet 1,500, which Vasquez called. The big blind folded.
The 9♦ arrived on the turn, which both players checked. The dealer then put 8♦ on the river, which paired the board.
Vasquez checked, and his opponent bet 1,800. Vazquez snap-called and his opponent mucked his cards without revealing his hand.
“I have a straight,” Vasquez said as he tabled 7♥6♥, showing he flopped open-ended straight, gut-shot straight flush, and flush draws, making his straight on the turn.
