Perfect River Creates Huge Win for Normand

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Frederic Normand opened to 5,000 from the button and was then three-bet to 12,000 from the small blind, which he called to see a flop of 697.

The small blind continued for 13,000 but then Normand put in a raise to 28,500. She quickly made the call and the two went to the turn 6 which saw a check from the small blind and a bet of 27,000 from Normand.

His opponent made the call to see the A fall on the river and action was checked to Normand once again. He thought about it for a second -before moving all in for over 200,000, barely covering the small blind who went deep into the tank.

After a good minute or so, she finally shrugged and said "Screw it," and shoved her not-so-small stack into the middle, putting herself at risk.

She flipped over JJ for a rivered flush but was then shown the bad news when Normand rolled over 99 for a turned full house to scoop the massive pot, eliminating his opponent and rocketing him into the top of the chip counts with almost 550,000.

Eanes Doubles Up with Nut Flush

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

PokerNews walked up to a table that had significant action going between Rock Eanes and a player in late position, who had Eanes covered.

And the pot was bloated on a board showing A59K.

The action was pending on the player in late position acting on Eanes bet, and he eventually did by putting Eanes all in for his remaining 98,000.

Eanes snap-called and the cards were tabled.

Rock Eanes: QJ
Opponent: 108

Both players turned a flush, but Eanes had the better end of it. The river was an insignificant A, and Eanes scored a double up minutes before the break.

Grazziotin Makes the Call

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a turn 26410, there was already 105,000 in the pot when Mattheus Grazziotin was faced with a bet of 52,500 from his opponent.

After a few seconds, Grazziotin made the call and the two went to the river J, where his opponent bet 75,500.

Grazziotin went into the tank for around 30 seconds before he decided to call.

"You got it," his opponent sighed as he turned over AK for just ace high. Grazziotin proudly turned over 66 for a flopped set of sixes to scoop the pot.
