Franco Spikes Two-Outer to Eliminate Ding

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Biao Ding and Thiago Franco were involved in a pot that saw Ding all in, which Franco covered.

Biao Ding: QQ
Thiago Franco: JJ

Ding was in good shape when the board showed 227K, but there’s always the river, where an all-in player’s hopes are either kept alive or crushed with a brutal beat.

The later occurred when J appeared on the final street. Franco let out a resounding, “Yes!” in celebration. Ding, however, looked dejected as he gathered his belongings before heading to the rail.

Murray Making Moves

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

On a heads-up completed board of 54A108, the pot was already big with over 3,000,000 in the middle when Brett Murray slid out a bet of 2,300,000.

His opponent, Menan Saydam, then went deep into the dank to consider his options.

After a good minute or so, he finally set out the stack of chips to call but was then shown AA by Murray for top set of aces.

"Ughhh, I could have easily gotten away from that, I SHOULD have gotten away from that," he groaned as he tossed KK into the muck as the monster pot was shipped over to Murray.

Schechter Doubles Through Marella

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

David Vedral opened from early position for 320,000 and was met with a raise from Ian Schechter in middle position. Divakaran Marella went deep into the tank and had the clock called on him after five minutes.

As soon as the floor got to the table Marella moved all in. Vedral got out of the way and Schechter snap-called.

Ian Schechter: AA
Diavakaran Marella: JJ

Marella was despondent seeing the pocket aces. They did pick up a gutshot on the turn on the board of 1076910 but missed on the river to give Schechter a massive double-up.

The remaining 69 players are now on their final 15-minute break of the night and will return shortly to battle it out for the last two levels

Qi Eliminates Anderson

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Chase Anderson moved all in preflop for 2,235,000 and chip leader Xuming Qi made the call while the rest of the table quickly got out of the way.

Chase Anderson: AQ
Xuming Qi: 1010

Anderon needed some help to catch up to Qi's pocket pair, but the board of 4K97K did not do it for him and he was sent to the payout desk. Meanwhile, Qi's stack reached a new height of over 15,000,000, the largest in the room thus far.

Schaeffer Scores Double Up

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Eric Schaeffer needed a double up as a short stack and he picked his spot after Hagai Dayani raised preflop.

Schaeffer then moved all in for his last 1,195,000. Dayani, who barely had Schaeffer covered, decided to make the call.

Eric Schaeffer: A10
Hagai Dayani: 77

The dealer fanned 295 on the flop, which kept Dayani in the lead. The 3 on the turn had Schaeffer halfway out the door, but then 10 kept Schaeffer alive.
