Katie Lindsay
Katie Lindsay

The action folded to Katie Lindsay on the button who made it 1,700. The small blind bumped it up to 5,600 and Lindsay opted to peel a flop of K86.

"Don't f*** this up, PokerNews," Mike Dentale shouted from the table having never written a hand history himself. Meanwhile, Frank Stepuchin walked over chowing down on a half-eaten steak on his fork.

Getting back to the poker hand, the small blind continued with a bet of 5,100 and Lindsay called to see the 8 on the turn. The small blind checked this time and Lindsay tossed in a bet which promptly got her opponent to muck her cards.

"You can write that one," Lindsay approved.

Moneymaker Sets a Trap

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A player from under the gun bet 1,600 and received calls from a player in middle position, Chris Moneymaker in the small blind and a player in the big blind.

The flop came Q25 and action checked around to the original raiser, who put in a continuation bet of 2,600. The middle position player called, Moneymaker called and the big blind folded.

Action checked through on the 5 turn and K river. Moneymaker showed 75 for trip fives to take down the pot.

As he scooped the pot Moneymaker told the under-the-gun player that he was hoping for him to bluff.

"I thought about it" the under-the-gun player replied.

"You look like you wanted to" said Moneymaker.
