Weisfeld Finally Arrives for Day 3

Byron Weisfeld was absent from his seat for the first 90 minutes to start Day 3. Having only 270,000 to start the day, Weisfeld was slowly getting blinded out until he finally showed up with around 150,000 left in his stack.

According to the table, Weisfeld claimed that his hotel was on fire which caused the delay in his arrival.

Rollercoaster Double for Kolev

Frederic Normand opened to 60,000 in early position and Boris Kolev pushed out a raise to 300,000 in the cutoff, leaving just 25,000 behind. Normand jammed all in and Kolev called as the cards were tabled.

The flop came Q64 and Normand picked up a set of queens to take the lead. However, the K hit the turn to give Kolev a set of kings and there would be no change on the 4 river.

Picking up the action on the river with a completed board of AJ56J, Renan Aziz was heads-up with Christian Roberts with around 300,000 in the middle.

Aziz led out with a bet of 80,000 and Roberts stuck in enough T-100,000 chips to cover the 300,000 stack of Aziz. After a minute, Aziz made the call and tabled J10 for trip jacks. However, Roberts rolled over AA for a full house and Aziz was eliminated.

The turn was the A. Anastasakis fired for 180,000. After some consideration, Zhang folded for Anastasakis to scoop the pot.
