Nguyen Scores Knockout

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player in middle position raised preflop, and Chris Nguyen, who was in the small blind, three-bet.

Then, the drama began.

The player in the big blind moved all in for his remaining 56,000, which got the original raiser out of the hand. Nguyen, though, went in the tank and took a few moments to look at his chip stack and the chips pushed in front of the big blind.

Nguyen eventually reached down and grabbed a handful of chip and placed them in front of him to make the call.

Opponent: A4
Nguyen: KQ

The dealer fanned J64 on the flop, which kept Nguyen’s opponent in the lead.

But the table quickly turned in Nguyen’s favor when Q arrived on the turn, and he sealed it after K arrived on the river to send Nguyen’s opponent to the rail.
