Benny Glaser was on the verge of an early reentry, after getting short by losing a No-Limit Hold 'em flip to David "ODB" Baker, then trying to get some back versus John Monnette in Badugi.

After exchanging raises pre-draw, Glaser drew one card from the big blind while Monnette patted in the cutoff. Glaser check-called a bet, then drew one again, while Monnette stayed pat.

Glaser then check-called another bet after the second draw and drew one again with Monnette remaining pat.

After that, Glaser checked a final time and faced one more bet from Monnette which he had to fold to, leaving himself with just 1,300 chips which disappeared shortly after, likely sending him back to the registration desk.

Picking up the action on the second draw in a three-way pot, Jose Paz-Gutierrez bet 1,000 and drew two as Pawel Andrzejewski stood pat and called, while Alex "Thallo" Epstein drew one and called.

On the third draw, Paz-Gutierrez bet 1,000 and again drew two as Andrzejewski again stood pat and called and Epstein drew one and called.

Paz-Gutierrez showed 10♦8♦7♠5♣4♥ as Andrzejewski and Epstein respectively showed 8♣6♥5♠3♠2♦ and 7♦6♠5♥3♦3♣ to chop up the pot.

Matusow Gets a Big Fold From Chad

Picking action up on a turn board of 10♦8♠6♦7♥, Mike Matusow bet 2,500 from the small blind and got a call from Norman Chad in the big blind.

The river brought the 3♠ and Matusow now bet 7,000. Chad went briefly into the tank saying he was folding top set. He indeed showed 10♠10♣ and sent it to the muck with his other two cards.

Matusow showed him A♦J♦9♥8♣ for the nut straight as the two discussed the merits of Chad's fold.
