Powen Fang raised to 800,000 in the hijack position and Ian Matakis three-bet all in to 5,500,000. Fang stared down Matakis before making a decision to fold. With a money jump in two positions, players were playing cautiously.
Javier Zarco raised to 800,000 from the button and Martin Stausholm took his time before opting to shove from the big blind with the bigger stack. Zarco called for the 8,550,000 he had behind.
