Big Oops For The Chip Lead

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The PokerNews team was called over to have a hand relayed after the fact. A player in middle position opened for 400,000 and it folded to Anthony Ibrahim in the small blind, who didn't realize there was an open, and moved all in to steal the blinds. The big blind quickly folded and the initial opener made the call for his stack of 6,000,000 knowing Ibrahim didn't see the raise.

Middle Position: 33
Anthony Ibrahim: J6

Ibrahim was lucky enough to have two over cards to the threes, and when the board ran out 9664A, it was the flopped trips for Ibrahim that rewarded his mistake with the chip lead pot.
