Trip Aces for Pochat

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Three players saw the A72 flop for 3,000 each and Manuel Pochat led for 2,500. The player next to act folded and Haven Werner made the call on the button.

The A fell on the turn and Pochat checked to Werner as she tossed a bet of 5,500 in the middle. Pochat asked to see her chips and she pushed forward her stack of just over 30,000 to make it visible. Pochat made the call.

When the Q landed on the river, Pochat checked once again. Werner thought about her options for about 10 seconds and tapped the table.

Pochat quickly rolled over his A10 for trip aces and Werner mucked her hand.

Shashikhina Takes it Down

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

After checking through the turn 6JAJ8, Timoty Totten decided to check once more when the river came the 3.

The action was then on his opponent, Sonia Shashikhina, who tossed in a bet of 20,000 into the pot of almost 40,000.

Totten then went into the tank, visibly conflicted on this decision. After around 30 seconds of torturing himself, he decided to let it go and the pot was pushed to Shashikhina.

The board was dealt up until the turn and read 828J. Trivett led from under the gun and put Lim in tough spot on the button. With his camera crew capturing his struggle, he eventually folded his hand and forfeited the pot to Trivitt.

Aoki tabled A10 for top pair, which got a muck from Topp.

Olechnowicz Shows the Goods

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a heads-up flop of 439, Aaron Olechnowicz checked to his opponent who then bet 3,500 into the pot. Then Aaron Olechnowicz decided to check-raise him to 10,000 and was called to see the 9 on the turn.

Both players decided to check through to the 3 on the river, at which point Olechnowicz announced he was all-in. His opponent went into the tank for a solid minute before painfully sliding his cards into the muck. Olechnowicz then showed him the goods of A8 for a big ol' ace-high.

Frederic Normand

Frederic Normand raised 800 in middle position and only the big blind came along.

The dealer fanned a flop of AQ9 and the big blind check-called a bet of 700.

The K fell on the turn and both players checked to see the K river.

The big blind checked before Normand fired a bet of 4,000 and Normand was snap-called. As soon as the player called Normand pulled back his bet and tabled K8 for trip eights and his opponent mucked his hand.

At the same table Amir Hamzehali is building a healthy stack with over 100,000 in chips.

Teurquety Rivers a Straight Flush

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A pot of 14,400 had already been amassed by a player in the small blind and Jason Teurquety in the big blind. The flop of J95 went check-check before the small blind bet out 2,000 on the 2 turn.

Teurquety went into the tank and called after a minute or so. The river was then dealt the 10.

The small blind reverted to a check and Teurquety mulled over his options. Eventually, he settled on a bet of 16,000, which got looked up by the small blind.

Teurquety then quickly tabled KQ for the stone cold nuts, a straight flush.

"I folded nines!" the player under the gun proudly exclaimed.
