Baxter Given a Donation

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

An early position player raised to 1,100 and stated, "This is a donation". Bryden Baxter on the big blind decided he needed a donation and made the call. The flop came out Q73 and Baxter made a bet into the preflop aggressor who reraised to 3,700 and again said, "This is also a donation". Baxter still felt a donation was in order and called.

After all of that action the turn 7 and the river 6 went check, check. Baxter flipped over A5 and the early position player said, "What does he have?" The dealer responded, "Ace high" and the player mucked.

In the end Baxter got his donation.

Patel's Check-Raise Gets The Job Done

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Romit Patel opened to 1,100 from under the gun and received calls from the hijack, Austin Yoo in the cutoff and the player on the button.

The flop fanned out J52 and action checked to the hijack who announced a bet of 1,800. Both Yoo and the button folded and Patel elected on a check-raise to 7,000.

The hijack took some time to weigh their options, but in the end folded and the pot was shipped to Patel.

Lu Spikes Miracle River, Schroeder Exits

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On a three-way flop of 395, Yunye Lu checked to Artan Dedusha who bet 1,800 and then was raised to 10,000 by Donald Culberson.

Then Lu check-jammed for a full 50,000 and now the pressure was back on Dedusha, who went into the tank. After a good minute or so debating with himself, he tossed out two green chips worth 25,000 each to make the call.

Culberson, who had already committed a large portion of his stack in his initial raise, decided to lay it down and the cards were tabled with Lu at risk.

Yunye Lu: 35
Artan Dedusha: A10

The turn came the 8 to give Dedusha the nut flush but the river came the 3 to give Lu a full house to scoop the entire pot. Meanwhile, Culberson was kicking himself as he admitted he folded pocket eights that would have given him a bigger boat.

The very next hand, short-stacked Benjamin Schroeder moved all in and was called by Lu to put him at risk.

Benjamin Schroeder: 99
Yunye Lu: AQ

Schroeder was ahead going into this bout, but the flop of 4AK put Lu in the lead with his ace and the turn A all but locked it up. The 2 on the river sealed Schroeder's fate and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Very Good Turnout for Lo

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

The under the gun player raised to 2,000 and it was called by the player next to him, Robert Lo, the hijack, the cutoff and the button. Amir Lehavot decided to squeeze in the big blind to 16,500 and it folded to Lo who shoved for 28,000. The rest of the players got out of the way and Lehavot quickly called:

Robert Lo: QQ
Amir Lehavot: AK

It was a typical flip situation, and the board brought 86668 to give the winning hand and the double up to Lo.

Heron Leaps with Excitment as He Triples

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Steven Heron ripped his last 8,400 in the middle from under the gun and was called by both the cutoff and the small blind.

There was no side pot created as both players checked it down on the J102AQ run out.

Heron looked defeated as he tabled 88, however, he was good when his opponents showed 66 and 55. Heron leaped out of his chair with excitement as the hands were tabled and collected a triple-up.
