It Could Happen to Yoo

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Zae Yoo had been all in at least five times today, he said, and down to six big blinds had already sucked out Ax3x vs 6x6x and Jx9x vs QxQx. Now he had shoved all in from under the gun. Cutoff Carlos Henriques called, and when Elson Lima rejammed, Henriques called that also. Yoo would once again be at risk for his tournament life against long odds.

Zae Yoo: 99
Elson Lima: QQ
Carlos Henriques: AK

The flop continued Yoo's incredible run of good luck, 967. "I don't know what to say," said Yoo.

The 7 gave Yoo a full house, and Henriques outs to a flush to win the side pot. A 9 on the river sparked pandemonium at the table,.

"I had to push," said a stunned Yoo. "I was ready to go."

"Are you alright?" asked Lima as he pulled in the side pot.

"Not really," replied Yoo, visibly shaking as he raked in his triple up, once again having defied the odds.
