Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Rytis Strigunas raised to 2,500 in middle position and was called by Alex Lynskey on the button and Christoph Maximowitz in the big blind. The flop came KK5 and Strigunas continued with a bet of 2,200. Lynskey and Maximowitz both called.

The turn brought the J and the action checked to Lynskey this time who made a bet of 5,000. Maximowitz called and Strigunas got out of the way. Owen Chips Back Up, Nakamura Exits

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a board that read A52A, popular poker vlogger Brad Owen checked from under the gun to his opponent, who put out a bet of 6,500. Owen made the call and a river of Q hit the felt.

Both players now quickly checked and the player on the button declared "five."

"No good," said Owen, as he tabled his AJ for trip aces. Owen won the pot and is nearing the starting stack of 60,000 chips again.

Meanwhile, Tamon Nakamura has busted in one of the first hands after the break.

Melogno With Top Pair

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Joaquin Melogno raised to 2,800 from early position. Rafael Caiaffa in middle position decided to three-bet to 8,100. All the other players around the table folded, except for Melogno called.

On the flop 9Q4, Caiaffa bet another 7,600, and Melogno called. Then, the 5 appeared on the turn, and both players checked.

The J landed on the river. Melogno checked again. Caiaffa seemed to hesitate, but checked back a second time and folded when Melogno showed AQ for top pair.

Nichols Applies Maximum Pressure

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with the board reading 4J10. A player on the button had bet 11,500 and Steven Nichols had raised it to 37,000 in position, putting his opponent deep into the tank.

After approximately five full minutes the button made the call, leading to the Q turn. Nichols bet again for 50,000, putting the button, who had about 75,000 behind, on a difficult decision.

After another long deliberation, the button folded and Nichols was awarded a chunky pot.
