Abu Hamza Bin Khalek
Abu Hamza Bin Khalek

Abu Hamza Bin Khalek was a bigger stack early in the day at his table and has since been surpassed by Chin Wei Lim. The stack of Bin Khalek took a toll but he just bounced back after knocking out Bruce Little.

With the cards already flipped over, Little was at risk with KQ versus AK and the A98K6 runout sealed his fate.

Heater Engaged for Elezra

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There was a raise from the hijack and Eli Elezra just called in the cutoff. David "Bakes" Baker shipped all in for 34,000 on the button which got both the hijack and Elezra to call.

The flop came 10106 and the hijack led out with a bet of 18,000. Elezra quickly called and the 8 landed on the turn. Both players checked to the 6 on the river and then checked once more.

The hijack turned over AK for ace-high but Elezra had that beat with 99. Baker could only muster 77 for a smaller pair and headed to the rail in the last level of Day 2abc.

Pardo Puts Pressure On Opponent

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player in early position opened to 4,000 and it folded to the hijack who made the call. The rest of the table got out of the way and Juan Pardo tossed in chips for the call from the big blind.

The flop came 632 and Pardo checked to the initial raiser who bet 6,000. The hijack quickly folded and Pardo put in a check-raise to 18,000. The early position player made the call and the 2 hit the turn.

Pardo took a few seconds before tossing out a bet of 25,000 and his opponent went in the tank. After close to 30 seconds, the early position player folded and Pardo scored the pot.

Martini Stops the Bleeding

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

It had been a rough day at the tables for Julien Martini so far as he lost a big portion of his stack. The Frenchman was just involved in a heads-up pot with Stanislav Urodlivchenko and check-raised the J84 flop from 4,000 to 16,000. Urodlivchenko came along to the 10 turn but snap-folded when Martini bet 20,000.

Ace High is Enough for Denick

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The button raised to 4,000, finding Andrew Denick in the small blind who three-bet to 12,000. The button called.

Denick continued for 7,000 on a board of 9K7, to which his opponent called.

The turn fell the 2 and Denick didn't slow down as he committed an additional 26,000 chips to the pot. The button elected to see a river.

Denick checked at the sight of the 4, as did his opponent on the button. Denick was first to show AQ for just ace-high, which was good enough to see his opponent's card sent to the muck as he claimed this pot.
