Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Sergio Aguero
Sergio Aguero

After being left short by Bill Klein earlier in the level, Sergio Aguero's deep run came to an end.

As recounted by his former table, Aguero found himself all in and at risk for his last 6,000 chips, finding two callers.

Sergio Aguero: 5x5x
Opponent 1: Ax10x
Thien Chung WU: Qx10x

The pocket fives of Aguero couldn't hold as the board had Thien Chung WU's hand improve to a full house by the river.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Boatman turned over 22 for the flopped set and his opponent flashed KK before mucking.

Elsewhere, Martin Zamani was just eliminated as his table then prepared to head off to the Horseshoe section.

Adams Pulls Off Audacious Bluff

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Matthew Adams in the big blind was involved in a hand with Thomas McCartney in middle position. With the board reading 9JK2K and over 200,000 already in the middle, Adams pushed forward a bet of 185,000. That did not appear to sit too well with McCartney who told the table "I flopped the nuts, I've got queen-ten." After only a minute or two, McCartney open folded Qx10x but was shown the bad news after Adams flipped over A10 for the stone cold bluff. McCartney managed a "nice hand" as he saw a massive pot shipped towards his opponent.
