Lourenco Takes a Rough Beat Against Jones

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Steven Jones got his stack of 795,000 in preflop with the A4 and he was a huge underdog against the AK of Hilton Lourenco.

Both players paired their kicker on the K74 flop and Jones pulled a rabbit out of the hat with the 4 turn. The A river only further improved Jones to a full house and he left his opponent disgusted.

"I don't think you gonna be welcome in Brazil," Sam Stein joked towards Jones.

Tosoc Sets a Trap

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Andrew Batey: 88
Ryan Tosoc: KK

The board ran out Q9AQ7 and Batey was sent to the rail while Tosoc added to his stack which is now approaching 6,000,000

Klein Doubles

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Shortly after losing a massive pot to Ryan Brown, Bill Klein moved all in for his last 385,000 from under the gun and was looked up by Matthew Wantman in the cutoff.

Bill Klein: J9
Matthew Wantman: KK

Klein was in rough shape and would need to overcome a large equity deficit to survive. The 22A flop did give him a flush draw, one that came in immediately on the 3 turn. Needing to fade deuces and kings heading to the river, Klein was able to do just that with the 6 completing the board to hand the at-risk player a full double.

Hynam Eliminated by Harder

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mitchell Hynam moved all-in for 160,000 in the cutoff and he was called two ways by Linglin Zeng in the small blind and Christian Harder in the big blind.

The 865 flop saw Zeng check-fold and the showdown proceeded.

Mitchell Hynam: KJ
Christian Harder: 66

Hynam was drawing to running cards for a chop only and it was all over on the K turn to make the 3 river a formality.

Soik Doubles to Leave Coakley Short

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Drew Soik raised to 50,000 from middle position and received two callers before Robert Coakley, in the small blind, shoved all in. Soik called for his last 775,000 and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Drew Soik: AK
Robert Coakley: AJ

Soik had Coakley dominated as the flop fell 378, leaving him in the lead. The 8 turn gave Coakley a flush draw, but he missed the 9 river as he handed over most of his stack to Soik.

Brown Triples Up to Leave Klein Short

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Bill Klein
Bill Klein

Bill Klein opened to 55,000 from late position and was called by Stuart Taylor in the cutoff as well as Nicholas Rigby on the button. Ryan Brown then moved all in for 1,200,000 out of the small blind, getting calls from Klein with the covering stack as well as Taylor. Rigby, meanwhile, got out of the way.

Stuart Taylor: AA
Ryan Brown: AQ
Bill Klein: KK

Taylor, though the effective stack, was in a good spot to get a crucial triple up, that is until the flop came 83K, vaulting Klein into the lead. The J turn did give Brown a gutshot and he managed to complete his runner-runner straight after the 10 improved him to broadway to eliminate Taylor and leave Klein short.
