Timothy Lee was spotted on his way to the payout desk to become the first casualty of the level.
Moments later, Jonathan Therme raised from under the gun one table over and earned a call by Masato Yokosawa in the big blind. The 8♣8♥2♠ flop was checked by Yokosawa and he called a first barrel for 80,000.
Both headed to the 6♦ turn on which Yokosawa checked again. Therme bet 300,000 and that won the pot right there.
Quang Vu raised to 125,000 in middle position and Pier Papadia called from the big blind. The flop came A♠Q♠5♠ and Papadia check-called a bet of 150,000 from Vu.
The 5♣ paired the board on the turn and Papadia checked again. Vu tossed in a bet of 350,000 and Papadia stuck around for the 8♥ on the river. Papadia checked for the third time and Vu thought for a minute before checking it back. Papadia tabled A♦8♣ for two pair and Vu couldn't beat it.
Thomas Gabriel open-raised from the button and Mikael Berrio went all-in for 235,000, just under four big blinds. The big blind got out of the way and Gabriel put in the extra few chips.

Berrio had the dominating six, and he would end up being the only one with two pair when the board ran out 6♠2♥4♣7♠A♥, resulting in a double-up for the Frenchman.
Aaron Speer bet 250,000 from early position on a board of 3♠Q♠8♦A♠ and Rene Majed called in the small blind.
The river came the 2♥ and Speer moved all in for 940,000. Majed tanked for about a minute before he called with A♥Q♣ for top two pair.
Speer, though, had K♠10♠ for the turned flush to double up and leave Majed nursing a short stack.
Sean Troha raised 125,000 in early position and only Sergio Torres made the call.
When the A♦Q♥2♥ flop hit the felt, Troha check-called a bet of 125,000.
The 5♥ turn was checked through to the 9♠ river. Troha check-folded to a bet of 400,000 from Torres and the dealer pushed the pot his way.
Thomas Gabriel moved all in for 710,000 from middle position and Mark Teltscher called in the cutoff.

Teltscher had woken up with kings and left Gabriel drawing to running cards on the K♠5♣6♦ flop with top set. The 9♣ turn gave Gabriel some hope with a straight draw, but the 3♣ river was no harm to Teltscher who sent Gabriel to the payout desk.
Ruslan Prydryk opened from the cutoff and Raj Vohra three-bet in the small blind. Prydryk responded by four-bet jamming a stack of around around 3,000,000 and Vohra folded.
Michael Farris opened to 140,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Eric Schneider in the big blind.
The flop came A♦7♦4♣. Schneider checked, Farris put in a continuation bet of 150,000 and Schneider check-raised to 425,000. Farris made the call.
On the 2♣ turn Schneider bet 425,000 and this time it was enough to force a fold from his opponent.
Davidi Kitai raised to 225,000 in middle position, leaving himself with just under 300,000 behind. Joe Ghio just called from the big blind and they saw a flop of A♣9♣5♥. Ghio checked to Kitai who splashed in his last few chips before Ghio snapped him off.

Ghio flopped a pair of aces which left Kitai drawing extremely slim. The K♣ on the turn gave him a straight draw but the 9♦ bricked out on the river and Kitai exited the room.
In a preflop all-in contest, Arthur Ohannessian was the player at risk for what appeared to be 1,335,000 and his pocket pair was dominated by Tim Van Loo.
