Turner Wins Battle of Jons

On a flop of 928, Jon Turner made a bet of 1,200 from the small blind and was called by Jon Shoreman in the big blind.

Both players then checked on the K turn before Turner sized up to 4,500 on the 6 river.

A quick call followed from Shoreman, and Turner tabled AK for top pair. Shoreman's cards quickly flew into the muck as Turner dragged in the small pot.

Pupillo Catches Good to Finish Off Paur

Taylor Paur was all in for 5,400 before the first draw and up against Nick Pupillo. He drew two, while Pupillo took one.

Both players took one on the second draw, while Paur then stood pat while Pupillo drew one. Paur showed a ten as Pupillo turned over 9-5-3-2 while waiting for his last card.

He flipped over a four to make his hand as Paur made a quick exit from the tournament area.

Zack Eliminates One as Opponent Plays Wrong Game

Daniel Zack raised his button and the player in the big blind defended. Both players drew two cards, and the big blind check-called another bet from Zack.

The big blind then drew one card, but was up against a pat hand from Zack. another check-bet-call followed and the same drawing action took place on the final draw.

The big blind checked one more time after the final draw, and Zack put in a final bet, enough to put his opponent all in. A quick call followed and the cards were tabled.

The big blind showed A6542 for ace-low and an ace-badugi, while Zack tabled 97642 for a better nine-low and nine-badugi.

After the table reminded the big blind that aces are high in this game, he stated, "I forgot," before packing his stuff and leaving the tournament area.

Hui instantly mucked and Hennigan showed Q52 as he took the pot.

Felipe Ramos made a raise to 4,000 in the cutoff and was called by David "Bakes" Baker on the button and Nick Schulman in the small blind. Schulman drew two cards while Ramos and Baker both drew one.

The action checked to Baker after the draw, who made a bet of 12,000 chips. Both of his opponents quickly folded and the pot was shipped to "Bakes".

The next hand, Baker opened to 3,500 chips from the cutoff and was three-bet by Schulman on the button to 11,000. The player in the big blind then shoved all in for 20,000 chips.

Baker made the call and Schulman got out of the way. The big blind drew one card while Baker stood pat.
