Both players checked the flop of 6♦9♦8♣.

The turn fell K♥ and Thompson check-called a bet from Silver of 85,000 after some personal deliberation.

The river A♠ went check-check and Silver showed A♦J♦ to scoop the pot with a pair of aces.

With around 350,000 chips in the pot and on a board that read 10♥9♥K♣6♦, Samuel Laskowitz fired 240,000 and Mark Tarich called.

The 6♥ fell on the river and Lazkowitz bet his last 10,000 chip, and Tarich called.

Laskowitz flipped over Q♦J♥ for a straight but was eliminated as Tarich flipped over A♥3♥ for a rivered flush.

Action was joined on the river with the board reading 4♣Q♠7♥J♦10♠. The pot had about 325,000 in it.

From middle position, Robert Burlacu turned up the heat on Martin Carnero as he jammed all in to put Carnero's remaining 400,000 up for a decision.

Carnero took a while with the big decision, at least four minutes of thought before he slid his cards toward the muck.

Action was picked up on the turn with a board of A♠K♦10♣6♠ when Moshe Refaelowitz bet 45,000 from the cutoff and Yuya Kita called from the big blind.

The river 2♦ saw Kita check and Refaelowitz shove all in, covering his opponent's remaining stack of 280,000. Kita labored over his decision, but ultimately flicked in calling chips.

Refaelowitz showed K♠J♦ for second pair and Kita showed A♣3♣ for top pair and a double up.

Perrone Takes from Cierco

WSOP bracelet winner Michael Perrone raised in middle position to 50,000, and then met resistance when Anthony Cierco defended his big blind with a call.

The dealer fanned K♥5♣K♦ on the flop, which Cierco checked. Perrone bet 25,000, which resulted in Cierco calling.

The 9♠ appeared on the turn, and Cierco once again checked. Perrone continued his aggression with a 30,000 bet and Cierco called.

The dealer placed 2♦ on the river. Cierco checked a third time out of the big blind, and then Perrone sized up to a 400,000 bet.

Cierco deliberated his action for a few moments, and then called. Perrone showed K♣Q♠ for trip kings, resulting in Cierco mucking his hand.

They both saw a flop of 4♥6♥Q♠ which Tarich led out on for 200,000. Kita was in the tank for a while but decided to commit the rest of his stack, and Tarich put him at risk.

Kita was in the lead and stood up as he awaited the runout. The dealer put out a 5♠ turn and a 9♣ river which kept the pocket aces of Kita in the lead to land him a double-up.

Action was picked up on the river with a board of 7♣A♣Q♠3♠2♠ and Andrew Ostapchenko checked from the small blind. Mitchell Halverson bet 250,000 from the big blind before Ostapchenko check-raised to 830,000. Halverson called.

Ostapchenko showed K♠8♠ for a rivered flush to beat Halverson's two pair with A♠7♥

Halverson was disgusted, asking his opponent in reference to the lucky river card, "What's it like? I would love to know how that feels."
