The flop of Q26 was already showing and the player in the hijack had bet out 600 into Ben Santoli in the cutoff and another player on the button. Santoli immediately raised to 1,200 and was only called by the hijack.

The turn 10 completed the flush and saw the hijack check-call a bet of 1,000 from Santoli.

When the river fell the 5, the hijack checked for the final time over to Santoli, who quickly fired out a bet of 3,000. The hijack winced before putting in the call only to be shown A8 for the nut flush by Santoli.

Espajo Drags in an Early Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Pokernews caught this hand on a flop of 1098 with about 2,500 in the middle and all five players at the table involved. After the action checked around to Ramon Espejo on the button he fired over a pot-sized bet of 3,000. Only the under the gun player made the call and they headed to the turn.

The 7 on the turn got checked through, and the 3 fell on the river. After it was checked to him, Espajo put out a bet of 1,000 only to instantly announce that he had misread the chip denominations and had intended to bet more. It didn't seem to matter though as the under the gun player folded to the small bet. Espajo dragged in an early pot to settle those World Series of Poker nerves.
