Samson Captures Two Pair

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Roger Samson II raised it up to 2,400 in the middle position and the player in the hijack made the call.

A flop of 3J10 did not scare Samson who made a continuation bet of 5,200 who then received a quick call.

8 appeared on the turn and fearless Samson bet again for 12,000 and got a call again.

The river brought the 2 and Samson slowed down slightly betting 10,000. The player in the hijack went into the think tank and then called as he stated, "I will call, good hand", and showed 98. But Samson had the two pair with J8 and scooped the pot.
