Nenad Dukic opened to 3,500 from under the gun, and Alex Kulev defended his big blind. Kulev check-raised to 17,000 over a bet of 6,500 on the 1082 flop and was called.

The Bulgarian continued firing on the 4 turn. sizing up to 31,500. Again, Dukic quickly called. With 82,000 behind, Kulev slowed down with a check on the K river. Dukic put him all-in and Kulev instantly folded.

On another table, there was around 80,000 in the pot on the 107396 completed board. The small blind bet 50,000 before Brandon Wilson overbet jammed for 134,000. The small blind asked for a count but ended up returning his cards to the dealer.

Yokosawa continued for 2,500 on the flop of Q107 and only Ausmus called. Yokosawa then checked on the 8 turn and Ausmus bet 15,000. Yokosawa called.

Yokosawa checked once more on the 8 river and Ausmus bet 74,500 with just a single 500-chip behind. Yokosawa used two time banks and folded.

The biggest pot so far took place in the back of Paris Purple and saw Adrian Mateos heading to the reentry counter.

As recounted by the table, Roberto Perez opened before Mateos three-bet behind him. Perez responded by four-betting to 23,000 and Mateos called.

Perez bet 7,500 on the 68A flop and Mateos called. Perez then checked on the 5 turn and Mateos bet 20,000. Perez check-raised all in for 128,000 and Mateos called with less.

Bogdanov Battles Shi in Four-Bet Pot; Petrangelo and Jaffee Enter

The hijack attempted to raise it, but it was ruled as limp. Mike Shi, in the cutoff, and the small blind also limped. Yulian Bogdanov then made it 20,000. Action folded back to Shi who clicked it to 40,000, folding out the small blind. Bogdanov reraised to 70,000 and Shi stuck around.

Bogdanov continued for 12,000 on the KJ9 flop and was called. The 4 turn and 7 river checked through to showdown. Bogdanov tabled QQ, and Shi mucked.

Poker's Elite Expected to Enter the $25K High Roller Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em

Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2024 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today sees the start of Event #21: $25,000 High Roller Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. This event is scheduled to run for three days, with Day 1 shuffling up and dealing at 12 p.m. on June 6, with eight 60-minute levels planned. The 30-second shot clock will be in play from the start of this event.

Players begin with 150,000 chips and Level 1 blinds are 500/1,000 with 1,000 big blind ante. Late registration remains open until the end of the first level on Day 2 (about 2 p.m.).

This is only the second running of this event, as it was a new addition to the 2023 WSOP. Last year's event attracted 207 entrants, who created a $4,864,500 prize pool. Swiss star Alexandre Vuilleumier came out on top, defeating Chance Kornuth heads up to capture his first WSOP bracelet and a huge $1,215,864 top prize.
