Kabbaj Dealt the Nuts

Level 8 : Limits 800/1,600, 0 ante
John Kabbaj
John Kabbaj

John Kabbaj was in the small blind and reraised before the first draw. John Bunch called in the big blind, while the under-the-gun player reraised.

The button called, Kabbaj reraised, Bunch folded, and both the under-the-gun player and button called.

Kabbaj stood pat and bet. The under-the-gun player called after taking two, while the button drew one and also stuck around.

Both opponents drew one and Kabbaj patted again. He bet and was met with two callers. Kabbaj then patted and led out with another bet as both opponents drew one more.

Only the button called and Kabbaj showed 7-5-4-3-2. "I was dealt that," Kabbaj said about his wheel as he took down the big pot.

Almost Seven-Perfect For Weng

Level 8 : Limits 800/1,600, 0 ante

Bin Weng raised under the gun and was called by a player in the cutoff. The small blind then reraised. "No respect for the under-the-gun open?" Weng said as he called, as did the cutoff.

The small blind took one, while both Weng and the cutoff drew two. The small blind then bet and both players called.

Weng and the small blind each took one, while the cutoff drew two. All three players checked, the small blind stood pat, while Weng and the cutoff took one.

Action then checked to Weng who bet, forcing both opponents from the pot. "Almost seven-perfect," Weng said as he took the pot.

PokerNews' own Frank Visser and Viktor Blom were both recently eliminated.
